Imvi Compassionate Care (ICC) is a Rwanda-based Community Benefit Corporation dedicated to strengthening communities through elder-centered, relational care. Rooted in Christian faith and local leadership, Imvi serves vulnerable elders and families through compassionate home visits, health support, intergenerational engagement, and community-based care systems that restore dignity and belonging.

Compassionate Home Visits
Rather than waiting for people to seek help, ICC goes directly into communities — walking alongside elders who are often isolated, overlooked, or lacking consistent support through ongoing visits and relational care.

Practical assistance, advocacy, and support for vulnerable elders — helping meet health needs and daily living challenges so they can remain valued members of their communities.

Young adults are equipped to serve alongside elders in their own communities. These intergenerational relationships create connection, dignity, leadership development, and legacy preservation.

Imvi's approach is deeply relational. Through ongoing visits, advocacy, emotional and spiritual encouragement, and practical assistance, elders are reminded they are valued, seen, and not forgotten.
A core part of this model is the ICC Champions program, where young adults are equipped to serve alongside elders in their own communities. Elders are honored for the wisdom they carry, while youth are empowered to live with greater purpose, compassion, and responsibility.
